In this article we will look to identify some of the top plays at the QB position for Week 1. I believe that starting your builds with these players on each slate is a recipe for profitability. • Kyler Murray (FD 8200, DK 7200)- Murray will be a main focus point this week as the KC/ARI game total is currently at 53, which is the highest total on the slate. This game will also be played at one of the fastest paces as well this week, which will give Murray an extra boost in possessions. Murray is very cheap on both sites and this is probably the cheapest we will see him this season. He is grading out very well on both sites in our early runs as he comes in at 2nd in Shark Ratings.

• Patrick Mahomes (FD 8700, DK 7700)- On the other side of this game we have Patrick Mahomes who will have his first game without Tyreek Hill . What I love about him this week is that his weapons are much cheaper than what we usually see as Kelce and JuJu Smith are way to cheap for their projected volume. Look for Pat to have a big game this week.

• Jalen Hurts (FD 8000, DK 6800)- I really love this spot for him this week as he gets a juicy match up against what should be a weak Lions pass defense. This game has sneaky upside as well for game stacks. Eagles made a few big upgrades in free agency on the offensive side of the ball that can really help him reach his potential this year. Fire him up in all formats on both sites.

• Kirk Cousins (FD 7300, DK 6100)- If looking for some value at the QB position this week, then look no further as Cousins is grading out really well. His ceiling may be capped a bit due to not having any scrambling upside but we can easily pair him with his top pass catchers. I doubt I will get to him in my single entry builds but for sure will be in my large field GPPs.

• These are some of the top QB options from our models but if you’re making more than 20+ lineups then some other options that I would consider are Matt Ryan, Mitch Trubisky, Joe Burrow and Jameis Winston.
