We have 5 games with totals over 50 this week, so this is shaping up to be a pretty high scoring Sunday. Lets take a look at our Top Stacks Model and see what teams we are high on and which teams can give us some leverage in our lineups. We will start with FanDuel.

  • Based on our model we can see that the Chiefs lead  with the highest Shark Rating and also they give us a tad bit of positive leverage as well. Targeting them in all formats is a great way to start your lineups this Sunday. Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce are the preferred targets for the Chiefs but if you can’t make them work together then playing one of them with Mecole Hardman is option or just doing a QB+1 stack ( Pat Mahomes + Hill or Kelce.)

  • The Ravens are next in in our model with a Sharks Rating of  10.20. They do have a negative leverage score of -4 which is not ideal but you still can target this team in stacks for Sunday. I would recommend playing them with some lower owned plays and other positions to balance out the leverage in your lineup. With Lamar Jackson being a mobile QB he normally does not hit his ceiling with two pass catchers so I would look to either play him by himself or as a QB+1 stack (Lamar + Brown or Andrews)

  • Other Stacks that are in play on FanDuel that gives you positive leverage and also have average shark ratings are Seattle, LA Rams, Vikings, Titans and Tampa Bay.

Building lineups on Draftkings is always different. For starters its a different scoring system as we get 1 full point for catches and also 3 point bonuses for QBs, WRs and RBs. Lets take a look at our Top Stack Model for Draftkings.

  • The LA Rams lead our model by a significant amount as they have the highest Shark Rating and also a great positive  leverage score as well. They are projecting to be pretty high owned but our model is indicating that they are still not owned enough.

  • Next is the Jacksonville Jaguars who get a great matchup against the Cardinals and this game should be played at a very fast pace. Both teams are in the top 5 so far this year in pace and we should expect some fire works! Stacking the Jags will also gives us positive leverage as well.

  • Other Stacks that grade out well on DraftKings are Baltimore, Tampa Bay, KC, MIN and Ten

Game stacking is the key to getting  correlated upside in your lineups. I highly recommend 3×1 game stacks in your tournament lineups – that means pairing a QB with two of his teammates, and also using an opposing pass catcher.  Lets take a look at some running backs that are grading out well in our model.

Running Backs

  • Najee Harris was the chalk running back over the past two weeks and Week 1 he busted and Week 2 he had an pretty solid outing. This week he is projected to be much lower owned than the first two weeks but our model is indicating this is not the time to get off him just yet even at a price increase on both sites. With  Johnson being ruled out this could open up more receptions for Harris in short yardage. He is ranked 3rd in our running backs model but his projected ownership is no where close to being the 3rd highest owned RB. Very sharp play!

  • Alvin Kamara, Antonio Gibson, and Mike Davis are  also is in consideration as being a great RB options on both sites as they are projected to get  overlooked by the field.

Wide Receivers

We always recommend to pair at least 1-2 of your WRs with your QB  to build a stack in your lineups. Below is our WR Model and some WRs that we can look to target as one offs or secondary stacks.

  • We all know that Cooper Kupp is a great play as he leads our model on both sites. He is someone that we recommend getting into your lineups in LA stacks and also as a one off piece. Below we will talk about some other lower owned targets that are getting overlooked on both sites.

  • Marquise Brown is grading out as a great option that is getting overlooked on both sites. He is getting WR 1 type of targets and production but his price has not caught up yet to his production. This is a great buy low spot for Brown. Fire him up in GPPs.

  • A.J Brown is also grading out well after two let down weeks. Last week Derrick Henry and the running game broke the slate but this week we are projecting for more of a pass heavy offense from the Titans. This firmly puts Brown in consideration as a great one off play or a secondary stack piece with a Colts player.

  •  Last but not least Marvin Jones Jr  is starting to become Trevor Lawrence favorite target over the past two weeks and this Sunday they will need his production to keep pace with the Cardinals high powered offense. We like him in Jaguars stacks but also as a one off as well.

  • Other WRs that are grading out well are Robert Woods, Laviska Shenult Jr, DeAndre Hopkins, D.J Clark Jr, Mike Evans, Tyler Lockett, D.K MetCalf.

Tight Ends

  • Travis Kelce and Darren Waller are arguably the best two tight ends in the league so getting them in your lineups is never a bad choice as they lead our model on both sites. Below I will go over some lower owned plays and cheaper plays that are grading out well.

  • We have two tight ends in the same game that are grading out well Mark Andrews and T.J Hockenson.

  • Also at a lower end we have Kyle Pitts and Noah Fant

Overall this should be a great slate as we are in store for a great Week 3! Our Defense Model is on our site as well so you can see what defenses we like!  Be sure to check out our lineup template closer to lock to see how we are building our lineups for each type of contest!
