Welcome to Sports Shark Analytics Shark Attack Article. This is an overview of the two-game Saturday Football slate on DraftKings/ Fanduel. Position-by-position, with some notes at the end on how I am playing this slate.
QB Thoughts
I have my eyes on only 3 QBs this week as I want to take Jalen Hurts out of my player pool due to his lack of passing volume. If I had to rank the QBs this week it would go in this order, Pat Mahomes, Josh Allen then Jayden Daniels. I have some concerns with how effective the Chiefs will be on the ground so this could lead to an increase volume in this passing game. After Pat then Josh Allen would be my preferred choice.
RB Thoughts
RB position is very slim this week as I only plan to roster 3 guys. Barkley is Barkley so I don’t even have to explain myself here as he has elite upside can break the slate with one big run. After Barkley then I plan to go way overweight on Austin Ekler as this spot fits his skillset. B-Rob will most likely get stuffed by the Eagles strong defense especially without their starting center. Ekeler has upside to have 5-6 receptions here. Last, I will have some shares of James Cook but I will not be overweight by any means
WR/ TE Thoughts
This is a AJ Brown erupt spot here versus a man heavy defense in the Commanders. Even with the lack of passing attempts I do think AJ has the upside to eclipse 80+ yards with a TD here. He will by far be my highest owned WR on both sites and I will be hammering his overs in all prop markets. After AJ then Shakir and Worthy will be my next two highest owned WRs. Shakir has a great on paper matchup has the Chiefs have the worst defense in the league versus the slot position.
Travis Kelce is the preffered spend up option at the TE spot for me this week but Dalton Kincaid and Dawsnon Knox are in play as solid spean down options. Either way I would like to roster my TE from the Bills/Chiefs game as this game has the most shootout potential
