San Francisco 49ers

• The 49ers have a chance to clinch the division with a win on Thursday, but they have to do it without one of their top guys Deebo Samuel (MCL Injury.) This could possibly be a huge blow for them as he is a huge part of the offense. Brock Purdy may also miss this game as he is dealing with a ribs injury and may not be 100%. If he was to miss then this would make dual threat QB Josh Johnson in play for a start on Thursday.

• Christian McCaffrey  is in a great spot here and should go off against a Seattle defense, which is ranked 30th in the league against running backs. What makes it even worse is they lost their best defensive tackle in Al Woods last week against Carolina.  Jordan Mason is in play as well as a single game DFS option. He has locked himself in a strong chance of pace role  for the 49ers as of late. With this being a short week and CMC struggles with injuries we could see an expanded role for him Thursday Night,

• Brandon Ayiuk  is in line to benefit the most with Deebo being out. He is close to a lock for Thursday Night no matter who is the QB for SF due to his huge spike in usage. George Kittle also gets a bump as well and the match up is very solid. Seattle is ranked 29th in the league versus the TE spot. His last game versus them he went for 7 receptions and 68 yards. Jauan Jennings and  Ray-Ray McCloud will also see playing time bumps as well with Deebo being out. Our early projection runs have Ray Ray being a strong value option on both sites.

Seattle Seahawks

• Coming off a brutal upset lost to the Panthers last week, the Seahawks will need this game to stay alive in the division and the wild card race. Geno Smith has had a very strong season so far and is in talks about being elected to the Pro Bowl this year. This match up for him is a tough one though as San Fran is 1st in the league versus the QB spot. His offensive line has to protect for him but this may be a tough task as the 49ers are ranked 8th in the league in sacks.

• The running back spot is unknown at the moment as Kenny Walker has a chance to play after misses last week and also DeeJay Dallas. Last week we saw Travis Homer lead the backfield and if these guys are out he should once again be a huge part of the running game.  For DFS, I am taking a wait and see approach here as we need more news on who is active.

• The Seahawks passing game is very concentrated between D.K Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. They make up for 50% of the target share combined and 1-2 in air yards as well. Tyler Lockett has the most TD equity as of late as he has scored in 8 of the last 9 games for Seattle. D.K Metcalf has the big play ability and usually the highest ceiling every week. Marquese Godwin and Noah Fant are the only other pass catchers that are worth considering for DFS.
