I believe that starting your builds with these players on each slate is a recipe for profitability over the long run. Some of these plays will be chalky but in the NBA, majority of the time the chalk is chalk for good reason as variance is not as high compared to other DFS sports.
Nikola Jokic ( DK 12,200 FD 10,900)- Jokic has one of the best matchups on paper tonight as Charlotte is one of the worst teams in the league against big men. With all of the value we have tonight I see no reason to fade Jokic as he leads our model in shark rating by a wide margin. Build your lineups around Jokic tonight!!
Derrick White (DK 5,300 FD 5,400)- The entire starting lineup is pretty much out for the Celtics tonight as Brow, Tatum, Horford and Robert Williams is out. White should start and play big minutes. At under 5.5K on both sites he is projected to be one of the best mid tier guard options on the slate. Play White with confidence tonight on both sites
Thunder Value- OKC will be very short handed tonight as they will have only 9 active players. We can expect big minutes from the starters and especially the guys in the backcourt. I plan to start all builds in all formats with at least 2-3 Thunder players per lineups. Building lineups in GPPs will require a great bit of uniqueness as they all are expected to be very high owned.
