CPT/MVP Picks (Also viable in the Flex)
Tony Pollard– Game script was not on Pollard side last week versus SF. If the Cowboys can get a lead or keep this game close then Pollard role is very secure tonight. I expect him to see at least 17+ carries on the ground but also the Chargers have allowed the ninth most receptions to running backs. This is a great bounce-back spot for Pollard. He is my top CPT/MVP.
Kennan Allen- Leads the team in target share and runs the bulk of his routes out of the slot. He is the highest priced option on the slate but he also has the highest floor. I expect the passing game to be very busy tonight for LAC especially if they do get behind early here. Ownership is a concern but we can get different with our lineup construction
CeeDee Lamb- Only 5 targets last week and now he gets a very soft matchup versus a below average Chargers defense. The Chargers have allowed the second most fantasy points per game to wide receivers this season.
Lineup Construction Thoughts
The majority of my builds will be centered around the Cowboys tonight as I do expect a bounce back game from last week. At the CPT/MVP spot I will look to have Pollard as my highest owned one followed by Lamb and then Dak Prescott. In my Pollard CPT lineups I am not opposed to correlating him with the Cowboys defense as this could be one of the first neutral game script for Dallas all season. So majority 4-2 builds or even a 5-1 on DK and 3-2 or 4-1 on Fanduel favoring the Cowboys.
