Weather Concerns
No weather concerns tonight as we have great hitting weather in all of the games.
Today’s article will be a little different as this is a 7 game slate and ownership will be more condensed on both sites.
Top Pitchers to Target
Tylor Megill– Targeting the Marlins going forward is looking to be a very profitable game plan going forward as the best two hitters on their team are now gone. Tylor Megill is having a great start to his rookie year as he has not given up more than 3 earned runs in any start so far this season. The Marlins have the lowest run total in our model and also the highest strikeout rate as a team. Megill is a great option on both sites.
So for the next options I will break down how I plan to attack the slate in tournaments as there is a huge advantage tonight on both sites in GPPs that I want to address. Let me start by saying that outside of Megill this is one of the worst pitching options I can remember.
Andrew Heaney- He projects the best on both sites in our model and most likely other projection systems as well. He is your cash game option and your SP1 on both sites. This is mostly due to the fact that he has amazing strikeout upside as he is a great strikeout pitcher. One thing that is against Heaney in tournaments is I believe that he will be overowned. Heaney will be facing 8-9 righties and this is his first home matchup inside Yankee stadium which has the metrics of being a hitter ballpark over the years. Our model is higher on the Baltimore side as we have them projected to score around 4.5 runs tonight, so this is a very interesting spot to break down.
Outside of Heaney in tournaments there are other good options that I would target on Draftkings as we have to play two pitchers. I have them listed below.
Jesus Luzardo
Dane Dunning ( especially if Othani is out)
Bryse Wilson
Top Stacks To Target
Philadelphia Phillies- Josiah Gray has had a great start to his rookie career but targeting the Phillies tonight is my preferred plan. We have the projected for over 5 runs and they will be a sneaky when you compare their ownership to the other top teams.
Washington Nationals- We are way higher on this game than Vegas tonight as we have the game to reach a total of 10 runs and as of the time of this writing the over/under is set at 8.5 runs. The Nationals are a great stack tonight that will be very low owned and sneaky. Game stacking this game in tournaments is also in play!
Texas Rangers- With Othani projected to miss his start tonight and now the Rangers are projected to get a matchup against Jose Suarez if this is the case tonight then I want as much Rangers as I can get in my lineups especially on Draftkings as they are very cheap.
