Top Pitchers To Target
Sean Manaea- Our top pitcher tonight as he leads our model with the highest shark rating. We have him projected for 1.18 strikeouts per inning and Seattle has the lowest implied team total in our model as well. This is a great spot for Manaea tonight.
Blake Snell- A matchup against the Marlins should give Snell the opportunity to bounce back from his recent struggles. This is more of a GPP play as rostering him does come with a lot of risk. We have him ranked 2nd in our model with a sharks rating of 74.12
Charlie Morton- Morton was less than impressive his last time on the mound. In six innings, he allowed six hits including one home run. Although, over the past 4 starts Morton strikeout numbers are at his highest of the season.. Phillies may be without Bryce Harper tonight which would give Morton a big boost.
Matt Moore- A sneaky value option on Draftkings that will allow you to spend up for higher priced bats. Love his price for a SP2
Top Stacks To Target
Tampa Bay Rays- We are a lot higher on the Rays tonight than Vegas as we have them projected for 5.87 runs which is almost a full run higher than what Vegas projects. They are one of the hottest teams in baseball right now winning 7 of their last 10 games. Cal Quantrill has given up a decent amount of hard contact to both sides of the plate this season and he struggles with his control as well. Fire up the Rays tonight on both sites as a great stack with a high ceiling.
Boston Red Sox- Whenever a lefty is on the mound we have to at least consider the right handed batters from the Red Sox. Jordan Montgomery is known to be a ground ball pitcher but over the past 3 starts his fly ball % has gone up a significant amount. Boston ranks 2nd in our model in runs scored tonight and they are a great stack to consider on both sites.
LA Angels- Kenta Maeda had a great year last year and was even in cy young considerations but this year has not been the best for Maeda. Left handed batters have had huge success against him so far this season. The lefties from LA are the guys to target here. Jared Walsh and Shohei Otani are great one off targets and also great as a mini stack.
