Top Stacks For Today
San Diego Padres- Luis Castillo strikeouts and ground balls have come back to life in his previous starts but we still grade him out as a pitcher to attack. This offense has a lot of talent and they get a huge park upgrade going into one of the most hitter friendly ballparks in the league. They will be very low owned compared to St.Louis so we gain a lot of leverage if they outscore the Cardinals tonight.
Houston Astros- J.C Meja looks to be a very good pitcher against righties but with some clear issues against lefties. His ISO and hard contact % is one of the highest in the league against lefties so guys like Michael Brantley, Yordan Alvarez and Kyle Tucker are my preferred targets against Meja tonight. Feel free to full stack the Astros though as they are in a great leverage spot.
Other Stacks to Consider
St.Louis Cardinals- They will be very high owned on both sites and we feel like they will be over owned especially in tournaments. They are great cash game plays but possibly great fades in tournaments.
LA Dodgers- Nice Leverage Stack on Draftkings but game does have some weather concerns
Colorado Rockies- My favorite Stack on Fanduel for Leverage
Top Pitchers To Target
Jacob Degrom– The Braves scored 20 runs last night, but they have a much tougher opponent tonight. The Mets are still large -162 favorites. The Braves have an implied total in our model of 3.66 which is the 2nd lowest for today. Degrom also as the highest projected K/IP at 2.1. FIre him up on both sites with confidence tonight.
Corbin Burnes- he actually has an easier matchup than deGrom facing the Pirates tonight. What has him second in our model is the fact that the Pirates don’t strike out as much as the Braves as a team. He still projects for 1.6 K/IP in our model which is still very high and the Pirates run total is the lowest on the board at 3.1.
