Top Stacks for Today

Milwaukee Brewers- Gonzalez is one of the lowest strikeout pitchers in the league, under 14% to both right and left-handed batters.  The Brewers could really take advantage of this and break the slate as their home run projection and hits projection is one of the highest in our model when you consider their prices. Everyone is in play especially on Fanduel as they are my favorite stack on Fanduel by a very big margin.

Cincinnati Reds- They get a very good matchup today against a young prospect who has had some control issues in the minors and and also struggles with get up alot of fly balls. Great American Ballpark is one of the most hitter friendly ballparks in the league and this could lead to lots of home runs for the Reds. They are priced better on Draftkings but they are very much playable on Fanduel also.

Max Scherzer- He is the clear ace on this slate and someone that I don’t mind going 100% all in on as he leads our model with a projected 1.84 K/IP. His strikeout % is well over 30% this year and he pitched over 100 pitches last game so he should be cleared from his previous injury. Lock him in on both sites and get different elsewhere with your bats.

Zach Wheeler- He is a pivot off of Max if you are looking to be different and also a SP2 option on Draftkings as there are some paths for  double ace build lineups today.

Jake Odorizzi- He gets a juicy matchup vs Det and is firmly in play as a SP2 option on Draftkings. Max and Odorizzi will be a very chalky build so pivoting off him in tournaments is a very viable option.
