Top Pitchers To Target
Jordan Montgomery- Since coming back from all star break his numbers have picked up as Montgomery has increased his K rate to over 25%. With how depleted the Marlins lineup is now today’s matchup is great! The Marlins lead the league in K % rate against left handed pitching and also there ISO ranks in the bottom 5. We have Montgomery ranked as the best pitcher in our model when you consider his price and upside on both sites. Also the Marlins have the lowest team implied total as it is 3.05 in our model at the time of this writing. We love the lefty tonight on both sites.
Erick Fedde- Another cheap mid range arm that may get overlooked is Erick Fedde. The Cubs did get to Ross last night as he was tagged for 5 earned runs but today’s matchup for Fedde is better from a metrics standpoint. We have him ranked as our 5th best pitcher today in our model as he is a great source of salary relief on both sites.

Charlie Morton ( More of a Fanduel play as his price is much better)

Top Stacks To Consider
Baltimore Orioles- By far my favorite stack for today as they get a great matchup against the leftty Tyler Alexander. The Orioles are bringing out an all right handed lineup and Alexander has a very wide platoon split. Fire up the Orioles today in all contest as they are our top ranked stack, and lead in our model in projected hits and runs!
Philadelphia Phillies– The Phillies let us down last night as they only score 2 runs and did not make any where close to value as a stack. I plan on going right back to them today. They are ranked 3rd in our model in run differential compared to most sportsbooks so we do expect them to be low owned today.
