Only real weather concern tonight is in Chicago. As of now the forecast is calling for rain before and  throughout the game which could affect the game being played. As of now this is not a very safe game.

Top Pitchers To Target Tonight

Alex Wood-  If the Cubs game gets rained out or is to risky to play before lock then Wood would be the next guy to target on the slate. We have him ranked 2nd in our model with a Shark Rating of 72.91 and a 1.34 K/IP projection.He has been much better against right-handed batters this season with a K% over 25% and also 50% groundball rate as well this season. Wood is in play tonight as a great mid tier option pitcher on both sites.

Chris Paddack-  This is a low strikeout matchup for Paddack tonight but he does have good splits against righties. We have the Nationals projected lineup to have at least 5-6 righties tonight so Paddock is projecting to have success. With a Sharks Rating of 72.13 he is a very good option tonight on both sites.
