When it comes to NBA matchups, sometimes you can tell when two teams are primed for a high-scoring game. The Houston Rockets and Atlanta Hawks are both teams that love to play at a fast pace, which is why I’m eyeing the over on the total points line set at 226.5 for tonight’s game.

The Rockets, led by young stars like Jalen Green and Amem Thompson love to push the pace and play at a high level especially when they get their offense going. On the other side, the Hawks, led  by Trae Young and De’Andre Hunter, also play a high-speed brand of basketball. They’re efficient in transition and can light up the scoreboard, particularly with Young’s ability to create scoring opportunities both for himself and his teammates.

Most sportsbooks have this line set at 226.5 and it could possibly get up to 227 as the day goes on. I am locking it in now but I would play it as high as 227.5 if it happens to close here.
