Top Pitchers To Target

• Andrew Heaney ( FD 9400, DK 7700)-   Projecting as the best point per dollar pitcher on the slate today as the match up versus the Rockies is great for strikeouts. We have him projected for a slate high 7.2Ks today. Heaney  struggles with giving up the long ball, so I do expect him to give up at least 1 HR today. At only 7.7K on DK he is a strong option and on FD at 9.4K he is  my SP1 in most formats.

• Framber Valdez (FD 11200, DK 10800)-  I would say is the “safest pitcher” on the slate today as he gets the best match up on paper versus a bad Oakland team. He is pricey on both sites but rightfully so as he has the highest floor/ceiling combo out of anyone.  In cash games and most SE contests I will just lock him in on DK but on FD we have to make a decision to either spend up or go in the next tier to Andrew Heaney.

• Josiah Gray ( FD 9200, DK 8000)-   He could get overlooked today as early projection runs have him going way under owned for his upside and the match up. I have a ton of interest in him for GPPs as he is a true boom or bust pitching option. The ceiling is there due to his strikeout upside and a great run prevention spot but Gray does have control issues. If he can limit his walks today he is due up for a great outing.

• Lance Lynn ( FD 8400, 7300)

• Freddy Peralta ( FD 10700, DK 8500)

• Joey Wentz ( FD 6200, 5800)
