Nuggets @ Cavs(-2.5)- 223

 

• Denver is projecting to get back Jamal Murray tonight but Aaron Gordon is still out dealing with a nagging rib injury. Getting Murray back does hurt Nikola Jokic upside but he is fine as a large field GPP play. As far as Murray I have very little interest in him in his first game back after missing 4 games.

 

• The Cavs are priced well on both sites as no one is really grading out well in our early projection runs. Jarrett Allen is only 6.6K on DK so he is fine for large field GPPs. Outside of him, I have very little interest in the Cavs.

 

Pistons @ Magic (-6.5)- 227

 

• This is one of the games that I will be crossing off on the slate as both teams play at a slow pace and no one is grading out well on either site. I will be full fading both teams unless we have significant injury news as the day goes on.

 

Celtics @ Pacers (-8)- 234.5

 

• Both sides are fully healthy and priced well on both sites. This game does have blowout risk as well especially with the Celtics getting back Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart.  I will be full fading this game as well as we have better games to choose from tonight.

 

Pelicans @ Raptors (-6)- 226

 

• Another game on the slate that I do not mind just canceling out as no one really is grading out well on paper. We do have some better plays on FD due to price discounts compared to DK,  Brandon Ingram is a strong target on FD at just 7.8K. Also on FD we can take some shots at Fred VanVleet and Pascal Sikam as their prices are much better compared to DK.

 

Grizzles @ 76ers (-3.5)- 231.5

 

• Memphis is a tough defensive team overall but they have taken a big dip on the defensive end with Steven Adams being out.  This is a smash spot for Embiid versus a very under sized Grizzles front court.  If spending up at the center spot I prefer him over Nikola Jokic. James Harden is also in a great spot as well at low ownership. He would be a GPP pivot off Embiid. 

 

• On the Grizzles side, Ja Morant leads the team with a 33.4% usage rate with Adams off the floor. He has also rebounded more as well which gives him a nice floor/ceiling especially if his shots are on. I can see getting to him in large field GPPs on both sites. IF wanting value from this team then Xavier Tillman and Brandon Clarke would be the guys of choice.

 

Spurs @ Mavs (-14)- 239.5

 

• Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving get the nut match up tonight versus a bad Spurs defensive team.. My only issue with them is that the Mavs are 14 point favorites tonight. I plan to set a rule of a max of 1 and if I roster one of them then I will look to pair them with Zach Collins from the Spurs.

 

Thunder @ Jazz (PK)- 240

• The Jazz ruled out Collin Sexton for the next 3 games so this gives a few guys a usage boost. Jordan Clarkson see the biggest usage boost and at 6.4K on FD he is a very strong mid tier option. Even on DK at 7.5K I have interest in Clarkson.  Lauri Markenen, Talen Horten Tucker and Walker Kessler also get solid usage bumps as well.

 

• The Thunder has everyone healthy for this match up so its hard to like anyone really. SGA always has a high ceiling so he is in play for GPPs.  Josh Giddey is fine as well for large field GPPs

 

Warriors @ Lakers (-6)- 238.5

 

• The Lakers are fully healthy so this takes the upside away from some of the big spend ups in Anthony Davis and Lebron James.  Out of these two though I plan to center majority of my interest around Davis

 

• The Warriors are still without Curry and Wiggins so Jordan Poole is my prefereed target here especially on FD at 8.3K

 

TrailBlazers @ Kings (-6.5)- 242

 

• Late night hammer spot for both teams as this game has the highest game total on the slate and will be played at the fastest pace. On the Blazers side, Damian Lillard is a great spend up play at the guard spot and Jerami Grant is grading out as a solid mid tier option. On the Kings side, DeAaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis are my top targets.
