In this article we will look to identify our top pitchers and stacks for tonight’s main slate. I believe that starting your builds with these players on each slate is a recipe for profitability over the long run. Top Pitchers To Consider

• Gerrit Cole (FD 11K, DK 10100K)-  With a match up against the Rays tonight Cole is easily the top pitching option on the slate. He leads our pitching model by a significant mark and always gives you a sense of safety as well due to his high floor. He can give up a bit of HRs, but the Rays are just an average team when it comes to power. Fire Cole up with confidence on both sites.

• Yusei Kikuchi ( FD 7000, DK 5800)-  Cheap value option  on both sites as he gets a match up against the Os tonight. Kikuchi always has K upside as he can rack up strikeouts quickly. With how cheap his price is on both sites he is grading out as one of the best points per dollar pitchers on the slate.

Overall Pitching Thoughts

We have quite a bit of pitching options tonight as this slate is not stacked with a bunch of offenses. I believe in order to win any GPP tonight you will have to win it by pitching. Other guys that will be in my player pool tonight are Alex Cobb, Josiah Gray, Joe Ryan and Glen Otto. On FD, I like the idea of just locking in Cole and going with cheaper low owned stacks and on DK I still plan to lock Cole in but as my SP2.  My early builds are being centered on Yusei Kikuchi, Joe Ryan and Glen Otto. 

Top Stacks To Target

• Toronto Blue Jays ( Projected Run Total 5.01)-   They lead our team model with the highest projected runs to be scored and also are 4th in projected hits. Braddish has had quite a bit of good luck so far even with his high ERA, but he lacks control.  With him being a reverse split guy, it could really swing in the Blue Jays favor tonight. They are one of the best stacks on the slate.

• Houston Astros (Projected Team Total 4.97)-  Houston is in a prime spot tonight against Johnny Ceuto who is a low strikeout pitcher that gives up a lot of hard contact to both sides of the plate. Look for Houston to take advantage of a low swing and miss rate and put a lot of balls in play tonight. Very strong stack on both sites.

Overall Hitting Thoughts

Like I mentioned in the pitching section, there are not many great hitting spots tonight so I plan to have a very tight pool of stacks on both sites. Other teams that are in play are the New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves, LA Dodgers and SF Giants.
