In this article we will look to identify our top pitchers and stacks for tonight’s main slate. I believe that starting your builds with these players on each slate is a recipe for profitability over the long run.

 

Top Pitchers To Consider

 

• Carlos Rodon ( FD Only 10.9K)-  Only on FD slate as this game was left off DK main slate. Rodon is arguably one of the best pitchers in the league and he gets an average match-up against the D Backs. They do not strike out much, but this is a solid run prevention spot. Strong core option on FD for sure.

 

 

• Sean Manaea ( FD 10K, 9K)-  Great match-up on paper as SEA is one of the worst teams in the league against left handed pitching. Hard contact and Barrel rate are low as well for Manaea this year. This is a strong option on DK as we do not have Rodon to choose from.

 

 

• Alex Manoah ( FD 11K, DK 9.3K)-   Great match-up on paper tonight as well as he gets a park upgrade going into Oak. He will be major chalk but I plan to have a good amount of him especially on DK.

 

 

Overall Pitching Thoughts

 

On FD, we get to roster Carlos Rodon which makes him a core option for sure. GPP pivots off him would be Sean Manaea and Alex Manoah.  On DK, I plan to go with  Sean Manaea and Alex Manoah in majority of builds. One fade approach at pitching that I plan to do is go way under on Juilo Urias as he is projecting to be way over owned.

 

 

Top Stacks To Target

 

Minnesota Twins-  Top stack on the slate tonight and they are projecting to come in very under owned.  They lead our model in projected hits and highest team total. Fire them up with confidence on both sites tonight.

 

 

New York Mets-  Grading out very well also on both sites tonight. They get a juicy match-up against Hunter Greene. The lefties are who I want the most but they are fine as a full stack also.

 

 

 

Overall Hitting Thoughts

 

The Twins are by far the top stack on the slate in our models tonight and they are not coming in owned enough. This is a spot where I plan to go way over the field on them. Other stacks that are in play are the Mets, Rockies, White Sox and Dodgers.
