In this article we will look to identify our top pitchers and stacks for tonight’s main slate. I believe that starting your builds with these players on each slate is a recipe for profitability over the long run.

Top Pitchers To Consider

• Kevin Gausman ( FD 10200, DK 10200)-  His last few starts have been terrible and this matchup tonight is not the best on paper, but there is a tad bit of upside at his price. We will probably get him at very low ownership on both sites which is also a plus as well especially how weak this pitching slate is overall. His numbers are still great so far this year with a strikeout% over 25%. Very sneaky GPP play on both sites

• Nestor Cortes ( FD 10500 DK 10300)-   This is probably the highest I have seen Nestor on both sites but rightfully so as he has pitched very well so far this season. Strikeout % is well over 25% and Rays lineup is still very watered down. I do not mind paying up for him on both sites tonight. Very strong play

• Zac Gallen ( FD 9500, DK 9300)-  Padres may still be without Manny Machado again tonight and if so their projected lineup has a strikeout % rate around 25%.  Gallen has shown some upside so far this season and this is a great spot for him to rake up some strikeouts. He is fine in all formats

Overall Pitching Thoughts

Pitching is very weak today overall and I do not mind taking some shots on some lower owned guys who are in tough matchups. I have not fully decided where I want to go yet at pitching, but I do know that I will have shares of the 3 guys listed above. Sean Manaea leads our model by a solid amount tonight but he will also be very high owned for a 13 game slate. It is worth a fade but I have not gotten fully on board yet. I do know that I plan to fade the cheap chalk pitchers tonight such as Spencer Strider and Roansy Contreras.

Top Stacks To Target

• Minnesota Twins-  Love the righties here in this spot as Aaron Civale is a true reverse split pitcher and righties have killed the ball against him all his career. Great spot for all the right handed batters. One of my favorite stacks on the slate.

• ST. Louis Cardinals-  Much easier matchup compared to last night as they get Chi Chi Gonzalez.  They have a solid run total as well tonight which will probably make them gain some ownership, but I do not mind as they are in a great spot. Chi Chi Gonzalez has very little strikeout upside and gives up a great amount of hard contact.

Overall Hitting Thoughts

13 game slate tonight so there will be more teams to target but these two teams are my top stacks on the slate. We are also looking to stack the Braves, Red Sox, Nationals and Cubs.
