In this article we will look to identify our top pitchers and stacks for tonight’s main slate I believe that starting your builds with these players on each slate is a recipe for profitability over the long run.

Top Pitchers To Consider

• Gerrit Cole (DK 10,500/ FD 11,000)-  By far the best pitcher on tonight’s slate as he leads our model by a pretty wide margin. It’s hard not to just lock Cole in on both sites and move on with the rest of your lineup. He will be one of the highest owned pitchers but this is chalk that I do not mind loading up on. Elite numbers so far this season.

• Zach Wheeler (DK 9,900/ FD 10,300)-   On DK, I am very interested in spending up for double aces tonight as it is very easy to fit in Cole/Wheeler in builds tonight. Wheeler has a pretty solid match up tonight as the Braves are a very right handed lineup and he has elite #s against right handed batters. Very strong Shark Rating for Wheeler tonight in our pitcher model.

• Marco Gonzales ( DK 5300/ FD 8300)-  Very cheap on DK as they have him priced at 5.3K, which makes it very hard not to take this discount as he gets a very beatable match up against Oakland. Even on FD at 8.3K he is in play as well if not wanting to spend up for Cole or Wheeler. On DK the Cole/Gonzales combo will most likely be the chalk combo tonight so if going this route it’s a must to be different in your stacks.

Top Stacks To Target

• LA Dodgers-  Great spot for the Dodgers tonight as they get a match up against Joan Adon.  Weather is a concern in this spot as rain is projected to be in the Washington area all night. If this game does play without any issues, the lefties are the ones that I want to target the most due to Adon‘s very wide platoon splits.

• Kansas City Royals-  Zach Davies is a pitcher that our models love to attack due to his very low strikeout rate and his hard contact rate. The Royals lead our model in projected hits tonight and this is a spot where we could get them at very low ownership. I love a 5 man stack of the Royals in GPPs.

• New York Yankees-  Jordan Lyles has pitched much better this season but he is still a pitcher to target as he gives up a ton of hard contact to right handed batters. I plan to go HR hunting tonight with the Yankees instead of full stacking them, so guys like Aaron Judge, Josh Donaldson and G. Stanton are very much in play for HR upside on both sites.
