I believe that starting your builds with these players on each slate is a recipe for profitability over the long run. Some of these plays will be chalky but in the NBA, majority of the time the chalk is chalk for good reason as variance is not as high compared to other DFS sports.
Lamelo Ball (DK 8,500, FD 8,200)- Lamelo is coming in as a very strong GPP play tonight as early ownership runs have him projecting to be very underowned on both sites. This game is projecting to be played at one of the fastest pace of the slate and the game total is very nice as well at 231.5 in most sportsbooks. Fire Lamelo up in GPPs tonight on both sites with confidence.
Amir Coffey ( DK 3,700, FD 3,900)- We are projecting Reggie jackson to be out tonight as they are coming off a game yesterday and reports are out that they want to scale back his minutes before the playoffs. This is a perfect spot for him to rest and if so then Amir Cofffey would become a very strong play on both sites and one of the top value plays on the slate. Ownership will be very high so I would recommend being different in your builds if rostering him in GPPs.
Giannis ( DK 12,200 FD 11,600)- Giannis always grades out very well in our models especially when the Vegas line has the game projecting to be close. This matchup would get even better if Rudy Gobert misses as Whiteside is not as elite of a rim protector as Rudy. Giannis is priced up on both sites but we should have enough value to fit him in on both sites.
