The NFL has finally arrived!! This article is meant for a early look at some of the top QBs and RBs for this upcoming Sunday slate. Based on the salaries released and our early simulated runs we will go over some of the top plays on both sites at the QB and RB position and also some value options as well. Keep in mind that this is a first look article and that things may possibly change due to COVID-19 protocols and also any injury that may happen during the week of practice. QuarterBacks
Josh Allen (7400 Draftkings, 8100 FanDuel)- Gets a matchup at home against the Steelers with a game total of 48.5-point over/under. We have this game being played at a very fast pace as both teams are projecting to be a pass heavy team this year. With how strong the Steelers run defense this is prime spot for Allen to take over with his arm.
Jalen Hurts (6400 Draftkings, 7600 FanDuel)- Last year Hurts showed that he has elite upside as his playing style fits great for DFS formats due to his rushing ability. Now this year the Eagles added weapons with Devonta Smith and Quez Watkins we are projecting the Eagles to be a more pass heavy team this year. This is another game that we projected to play at a very fast pace.
Trevor Lawerance (6200 Draftkings, 6800 FanDuel) What a juicy matchup for the rookie in Week 1 as he gets a Texans team that is clearly going to be in a rebuild season. There won’t be many times that we recommend playing Lawrence as his price will raise during the season but Week 1 will be the week we look to target him!

Running Backs
Christian McCaffery (9500 Draftkings, 10400 FanDuel)- The workhorse CMC always is in consideration every week that he plays as he gives you a very high floor/ceiling combo due to the amount of touches he gets on a weekly basis. We need to make sure he gets a full workload but as of now he is a very viable play.
James Robinson (6400 Draftkings, 5900 FanDuel)- With the injury to Travis this puts Robinson back in consideration as the true workhorse back for the Jaguars again this year. We are projecting him for at least 20 touches this week and with how cheap his price is on both sites we have to consider him!. On lineups that you are not playing Lawrence then Robinson should be the Jaguar you are using!
Dalvin Cook (9100 Draftkings, 9400 FanDuel) The Vikings are projected to have a run heavy game script in Week 1 against the Bengals which puts Cook firmly in play as a run back option in our Joe Burrow stacks. We have him projected for 26 touches this week and he can easily crush his price tag on both sites at under 10k.
