New York Mets ML (+102)- Tonight we have almost a toss up between two teams. The NL East is a wide open division and many competitive games will be played. This matchup contains a great pitcher matchup, and streaky bats. As reflected on our models, we have the Mets scoring more expected runs than the Phillies. The Mets are also coming off a game where Javy Baez struck out 5 times, and as a team left 15 runners on base. A long look in the mirror, plus our analytics reflects the Mets taking care of business.

Pittsburgh Pirates Total Runs OVER 3.5 (-130)- What we have here might come as a surprise. We are reflecting the Pirates to have a great scoring game. We have targeted this team a lot since the trade deadline, but it’s now their time to shine. Wade Miley of the Reds is grading out in the middle of the pack. On a huge slate such as this, I’m confident in the Pirates to cover this spread.

Atlanta Braves -1.5 (-110)- The Braves are back on our bet slip as they continue to cover for us. This has nothing to do with emotions, only logic and analytics. Erick Fedde has a road ERA above 5.0. Kyle Muller has shown to be a dependable pitcher in this rotation for the Braves. The Braves are also above .500 record for the first time this year. With this sweet taste of victory, expect the Braves to throttle the Nationals with limited talent.
